I did not even know about Caret browsing until the cat just walked across the keyboard.

I'm still numb (with alcohol). I am reading that people are feeling BETRAYED and HARROWED.

My new favourite word, HARROWED. It is certainly the most HARROWING piece of fictional tv i think I've seen (ep 4 of Being Human i laugh at you now)

Apparently people think Jack is a monster now. wtf? I'm not even going to go there.

And Ianto, with the VULNERABILITY and the relationship and the OMG his dad worked at Debenem's!!!! THEY DIDN'T KNOW HIM AT ALL. I simultaneously love and hate that, and the not liking is about, oh how sad he didn't EVER TRUST THEM. otoh, omg he didn't ever get that close - WOWOWOWOW.

I have no idea how they are going to go on from here. I've had my "omg I can't possibly watch it anymore" outrage, and now I'm just curious about what they're going to do. I would like to clarify that my PAIN over Ianto is still under a comforting blanket of alcohol.'

I read a few posts about the betrayal and how TW has screwed their canon etc... Whatever.

I thought this was the best season of TW. It didn't shy away from all the hard and horrible issues. I'm not angry at the writers or the characters.

I hurt for poor Ianto who loved Jack but was still insecure about their relationship. Who couldn't tell his family what he really did. Who had to make up lies about his family to his co-workers.

I feel for Ferbisher because deep down he was a good man who was caught up in something much bigger than he could deal with. Who at the end of the day thought it more merciful to kill himself and his family. Horrible, horrible decision...but could I have just let my children be taken by the 456, knowing what they'd end up with?

But most of all, I hurt for Jack. Jack who was buried alive for 2 centuries by his brother. Who had to die over and over again. Jack who was bombed and because he cannot die had the most horrible and painful resurrection. Jack who lost his lover after losing recently losing half of his team. Jack who had to watch his wife grow old and die. Jack who sacrificed his grandson so all the other children would be saved. Jack who has consequently lost his daughter because of that decision.

Jack who will continue beyond the end of the world. Who will remember all his loved ones after they are dead and gone. Who will have to learn to live with the decisions he had to make?

The Doctor thinks he's in a bad situation? He at least will eventually die. Jack's got many millennia to go until he'll be able to die.

I think back to The Face of Boe and think how happy he was to eventually be able to die. And I can see why.
