When Peter Jackson makes Temeraire into a movie I really want Tom Mison who played Mr Bingley in Lost in Austen to play Granby!!!!!

See?

SEE????

Why yes, I have finally seen Lost in Austen. I've had it for ages but was too scared to watch it in case it was mean to Pride and Prejudice, which I have loved, loved, loved since I was 13 years old. But [livejournal.com profile] japhrimel held my hand and told me everything would be fine whenever I started hyperventilating and trying to hide under the blankets whenever Amanda did something embarrassing or cocked things up. Oh, fine, I had to make her tell me what was going to happen just so I could get through it but it is FREAKING AWESOME.

OMG, SO GOOD.

Darcy and Amanda visit Bingley and Jane in the Americas and tell them the truth about Amanda's past and where Elizabeth is, so that they can pretend Elizabeth now lives with/near them in the Americas so they can occasionally send letters home from her (cos really, how long would the Hammersmith story hold up?).

And because in MY own personal fanon Bingley and Darcy always had a teenage romance at school but then they Grew Up and put such things behind them, when the two couples meet in the New World we now have Bingley and Darcy with a history, Bingley who still believes that Amanda is attracted to women, and obviously HE'S still attracted to Amanda (her tongue *g*) even though of course he loves Jane...

...and we know Jane's persuadable. *koff*

I'm thinking they should All Go Swimming in a Private Lake Together. I'm thinking this a lot.

I watched St Trinians yesterday, and it had lots of Mr Darcy gags in it. Because Colin Firth is in it. So is Rupert Everett. They also made an Another Country joke. And Stephen Fry sent himself up. It was win all round.

I have been thinking about your fic bunny, and I do not think I approve of Lost in Austen fic that doesn't involve Wickham in some way.
