You said you saw people complaining about this? Weird.
I gather some people are interpreting some people's requests as "I will be upset if I don't get this very specific thing that I didn't, in fact, sign up for." I just hope my writer can tell that's not where I was coming from. Hopefully, anyone who likes goofy fandoms like I chose is a little more of a relaxed personality.
I didn't want to write a Dear Santa letter at all
Yeah, me neither -- they baffle me! It's like you're supposed to simultaneously expand on your preferences and swear that you don't have any. My head gets trapped in the circles of politeness. But I realized that if I didn't at least make a placeholder post, the writer would have to keep checking to see if I'd put one up! And I do like reading the letter people write for me -- it's this fun connection to the person, I get all excited about making them a present.
I think I saw an ep of Cleopatra 2525 once - a bunch of hot scantily clad warrior women? Chick who played Zoe in Firefly?
That would be the one. It's silly and exploitative, but at the same time, very likeable and warm and female-friendship-based, and I love the Barbarella costumes.
