Okay, firstly, *breathe*. Second, join, or at least watch yuletide_admin and yuletide. This will tell you when stuff is happening. Right now we haven't had nominations, we're still throwing out ideas. HERE (http://community.livejournal.com/yuletide/574185.html) is a place where everyone is throwing out ideas and/or declaring what they're going to be nominating. You can nominate up to six. I am on page 5. I looked through the ones that came before (and now the ones since) and have seen a couple of fandoms that I'd like that have been mentioned a few times, so I feel pretty safe leaving it up to someone else to nominate.
The other good thing about this is (although once all the nominated fandoms go up you do this too) that I just saw someone nominate a film I haven't seen in like, ten years, but I loved it and I always thought there'd be a story there. I'd be willing to watch it again and write it, so I will add it to my list of fandoms I'd be willing to write.
Someone has just suggested Bronski und Bernstein btw!!!! Yays!!! And I saw Sherlock Holmes suggested. You'll just have to jump on in and throw Lewis into the pot.
