Just. It would be an unusually cool ending to a Stargate series. Tear it all down in flames rather than having the good guys win.

Some alternative nifty endings:

1. All the Earth people survive, but they lay total waste to the Pegasus Galaxy on their way out. No wraith, no replicators and no humans. No life ANYWHERE. And then they're all horribly traumatised and commit suicide.

2. They all die is a final confrontation and the wraith continue on to earth and eat everyone, go to plague proportions and then starve in a horrible cannibalesque frenzy. Also, in this scenario, whales take over Earth. That's nice and fluffy, isn't it?

3. All the replicators turn into Sheppard, McKay, Teyla and Ronon. Their faces are the most well known in the galaxy and EVERYONE turns on them and they spend the rest of their miserable and short lives dodging bullets, spears, rocks and nuclear weapons.

I'm just getting started. I've can dream up several more ways for SGA to end absolutely horribly.

Nah. I just want them to do something DIFFERENT. That won't leave me frothing with rage at how badly they write it all the time. It could still be badly written, but at least it would be entertaining.
