Classic Dr Who: City of Death

sarrenWe're watching City of Death. I'd forgotten how charming Four and Romana II were together. They frolicked about holding hands too. *hearts*
I was wary of revisiting the Dr Who of my childhood, but this really stands up well. I think the trick is to just watch the best of them. And this one was written by Douglas Adams! With a cameo by John Cleese!
Having never been active in Dr Who fandom I've missed the long running ongoing debate about which characters 'rate' as companions.
I have an opinion! You can't just randomly include people who've only been in one episode, just because they're Kylie Minogue (or whatever). It's not fair on everyone else - like Duggan in this episode. Duggan is awesome. He got to travel in the TARDIS! And save the human race! I want him to be a companion!** Can he be in more episodes please?
**Actually I pretty much say that about any male character that I like who has any interaction with the Doctor.
