The first trailer we saw of the latest Incredible Hulk movie made it look really lame. The new trailer we saw at the Iron Man screening made it look still not great, but watchable.

However, things just got really interesting. I was wandering past a certain actor's IMDB profile and, well, they kept THAT quiet. I'm impressed.

I'll just be over here hyperventilating quietly.

You are so cute! *smiles fondly*

BTW, please tell me you have seen Wonderboys...which I suddenly feel like watching.

Does he have a small role as Tobey Maguire's boyfriend? If so I will watch it again. Very, very soon.

I vaguely remember watching the film and being annoyed by Michael Douglas, which is my normal response to Michael Douglas in everything except The American President.

It's a crossover then? (Soz, I haven't seen Iron Man yet, but I'm still happy to jump up and down about the seven types of wonderful that RD jnr is.)

Yes! He does pursue and win over Tobey Maguire in Wonderboys. I actually liked Michael Douglas in this movie, cos it was an unglam and funny role. (I really like him in Falling Down too. )

Falling Down was hard to watch.

According to Angriest's comment below, it's all a cunning plan. I approve.

Also, go see Iron Man.

It's all part of Marvel's plan to put all their films into the one cohesive universe. The plan is apparently to do Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America, and the The Avengers.

What annoys me is that:
- I am a DC fan, not a Marvel fan.
- DC is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Time Warner.
- Who also own Warner Bros Pictures.
- DC Comics could do this sort of thing *at any time*.

So, I shouldn't be happy about this? Maybe you'll need to explain it to me on Monday.

I'm annoyed because while Marvel are doing something really cool, it doesn't matter so much because I'm not a big fan of their characters. What I want is a movie with Batman and Superman teaming up, and it won't happen because DC Comics and Warner Bros can't get their act together.
