Up at 6:15am to pack to go stay in the hotel for the weekend and also still get to the hotel by 8am to help

The Birth of Dr Who Season One
I was a bit late but they were all still trying to get the audiovisual equipment to work and then there were no speakers to be found but then I think one of the audience members went and got their own speakers from their room. Which, hotel full of geeks, I'm just surprised we didn't end up with like, twenty sets. And then all our local Dr Who experts and Rob Shearman bounced about endearingly for an hour and a half until someone made them stop.
Then it was lunchtime and I went to mind the artshow for an hour. Bunny came and helped - her current favourite game is being a shopkeeper so this was great fun for her.

Fan Ownership (with Rob Shearman)
Mostly I remember Rob saying you can't pander to fans, but there was context and it made sense, because it RUINS SHOWS. Like The X-Files, apparently, I don't know, I'd stopped watching XF by the last season. *ponders*
Then we had a bland dinner in the hotel cafe and then Dragonfly and Jody went off to the auction and Bunny and I watched The Simpsons in our room and I wrote some Persuaders fic.
