I heard a rumour that the Media Cannibals might be remastering their vids and releasing them on dvd. I tried to google to find out, but the links google wanted to send me to were very scary and not very likely to have anything to do with songvidding.

I hope they are. Some of my favourite Highlander vids are on them, I can't remember what they were called, but I have a feeling Depeche Mode was heavily involved. I wants them, precious.

Luminosity has a Highlander one I'm very fond of, Touched (VAST) Lots of long intense Duncan/Methos moments, which really is what we want from Highlander if we're honest. http://www.slum.slashcity.com/lum/eyecandy/#multi

She also has an amusing AtS oneWhatever, that she did with Sisabet.

Seguing smoothly into OMG Sisabet!! Did Without You I'm Nothing (Placebo) This is on my select list of VERY VERY FAVOURITE songvids. I've only seen the first season of Smallville, just didn't feel anything much for the show to invest more time in watching - which is not to in any way infer that I do not adore Clark/Lex, because OMG DESTINY. This vid is intense and angsty and omg makes my heart break. http://www.sisabet.com/

Am also particularly fond of her Without Me (Eminem) AtS. Go Lilah!

Yay! I saw that AtS 'Whatever' one earlier in the year and it's one of my all time favourites. I was going to recommend it to you.

I hadn't seen the smallville 'Without You I'm nothing'. I'm not a huge Smallvillle fan, but that vid is just so heart rending.

Hey, thanks.

It's disheartening to know that all those fabulous vids are just going vanish as peoples' tapes wear out.

It is. I've been contemplating ways to save the ones I made back in the '80s, but don't know how much luck I'll have.

If they're on tape, can't you just record them on to dvd?

After 5.30? My place is fine - I didn't realise you had transport though (no idea why I thought that)

I wish it were that easy, but it's not. Edit points often had rainbows and other video noise, and that sometimes messes with digital devices.
