This is Nick Cutter. Nick is a Professor and has a sexy accent!


The one with better hair than John Sheppard is Stephen. He tracks things! The other dude is Connor. Connor is a huge geek. I'm not slashing them. I'm not!


Nick and Stephen are inseparable, for reasons that escape me, except hot, and cute and why not. Right now Stephen is saying 'You know those movies where you think the killer's finally dead and then they JUMP RIGHT UP AGAIN?'


Stephen's hair rocks on! And he has a gun! The other guy with the really BIG gun is Ryan. He is laconic, and good natured, and completely unfazed by all the weird shit he's asked to do.


Just because.


Ryan, not obscured by big gun. And because you need to know that the other guy is IN CHARGE. He's a HATCHET MAN for the Home Office. I don't remember his name, but he has lots of antagonism with Nick if you swing that way.


Claudia is from the Home Office and is in charge of the wacky academics. She rocks and I am totally shipping Claudia and Nick.


Our heroes see the dodos! AWWW! Connor looks distracted, because Stephen has just put his hand on his shoulder. Dammit. NOT SLASHING THEM. The blonde chick is a lizard expert and spends a lot of time wandering around in cute knickers. Apart from that she has failed to do anything interesting so far.

We just watched the dodo episode last night.

You're not the only one failing to resist the urge to slash Conner and Stephen (despite the mysterious girlfriend).

I kinda like Abby (blonde, cute knickers), even though she hasn't done much (other than rescue dinosaurs and get chased a lot).

Helen and James (hatchet man) belong together - they're the most reptilian characters on the show. I guess that leaves Nick for Claudia and Abby for the soldier guy.

Abby's crush on Stephen is so lame. And seriously, she's so young I can't even begin to believe Stephen would even notice her.

The plot arc with Helen annoys me so much. I'm really hoping that they do something unexpected and interesting with it but I'm not holding out hope.

OF COURSE I KNEW THAT. He played Colin Kinney, 'England's premier footballer' and he had mod hair.

I can go you one better with the obscure. NICK played a gay getaway driver in a show called The Thieftakers. The main character of the show, a womanising Scotland Yard detective had to chat him up and get him onside, and ended up pretending to be his boyfriend for his dying father and comforting him and they BONDED and it was REALLY CUTE.

I am huge with the Primeval love. The
Dodos in particular were so cute, and the ep made me cry too. Although I'm all about the Nick/Stephen love, I'll watch for Stephen/Connor with interest though. Is there a second season, do we know?
