So winter's closing in...and my ankles are cold. Pretty much constantly. Damn ankle socks, damn them to hell I say! I am even (and I cannot emphasise the horror of this clearly enough) considering throwing all taste to the winds and buying Ugg boots.

The angst! The visual trauma!

Now where did I see those fluffy rainbow ones again?

Dear god, I am a slave to fashion.

Well, obviously, now I am.

Am currently sane person again. I had six shifts in a row, two of them doubles, and was forced to make the hard choices. As in going to bed at a reasonable time every night which meant NO Starsky and Hutch fic. NO Starsky and Hutch episodes.

Cold turkey.

Brutal but effective.

Am no longer in obsess mode.

To illustrate: scrat came over last night and brought new episodes. We watched a couple. She went home. dragonfly8 turned off the TV and went to bed. I went to my computer.

Where I stayed up late reading....a Harry Potter story...

...which I got ten chapters into and decided...nice Draco?? Blah.

And went to bed.

I think what consenting adults do behind their own closed doors is their own business...which is my excuse for sitting here in ugg boots and tracky dacks. All I need is a flannel shirt and I'd totally be in touch with my inner bogan.

Ehhhhh, to hell with taste and/or being a fashion tragic, ugg boots = mmmmm seriously toasty ankles.

Oh warm toasty toes... where did you see those rainbow ugg boots? I am not a slave to fashion... just have cold toes... as for not a slave to S & H... I remember counting two episodes watched today although I don't think that one really counts as Starsky and Hutch considering just how often they were not in the episode.

I think it was B&B's (as they like to style themselves nowadays) a while back. It might be worth asking, cos you know, they had dangly pom poms!

Hmm might have to draw the line at pom poms, the cat would never let me walk around without pouncing on them .

Ok Hutch in big love heart shaped glasses and pink overalls was very much a highlight.
