I think we all need to accept that this Starsky and Hutch obsession of mine is going to be with us for a long time to come, and move on with our lives.

Cos I've only seen season one. There's three more! Which, admittedly, I don't have access to right at this moment but I'm a Fan With a Mission.

I can hear you all thinking, you know. "Maybe she won't notice if I unfriend her quietly and back away from the computer, before it's too late".

Bad news people. It's too late.

(Except for the two Americans who, clearly insane, have voluntarily friended me. That is, unless they're already offended by my last post and are just waiting for me to look away before unfriending me...but really guys, feel free to mock Australians. Oh wait, Steve Urwin already does! )


Er..back to S/H. You hear about the constant touching, the hugs, the hurt/comfort, but MY GOD!

Actual handholding!! Across the desk at work, while reading reports...

Hutch preparing candlelit dinner for Starsky. That he cooked himself. Of Starsk's favourite food. That he called Starsky's mom in NY to learn.

So, a couple of recs. I've only seen one season, but any stories I rec will be in my opinion, well written, good characterisation, and have (for me) a feel of the time but not dated.

My fave so far, simply hot

You're going to have to show me these slashy episodes. Cos the ones I've seen so far haven't been overly slashy. And I admit to giving up because of that, and the fact that the plots generally suck and have that whole slow-mo thing going on.

I think S&H is a good, wholesome obsession to have! As slash goes, that is. Compared to RPS, for example (wait, I said I wasn't going to say anything negative about RPS!).
