I love this. I also love how earnest people want to tell her what any particular show is REALLY about. Also, I did not know that David Tennant has a squint?? (there are photo links) and apparently Jack Davenport has a 'squiffy' eye. I have stared at Jack Davenport A LOT and never noticed this (alleged) flaw. Also, I will refrain from punning at this point, it's a gimmee.

Katrina entries start about a month ago, btw. Er, start as in go backwards. So I guess they END about a month ago. There are PHOTOS. And anecdotes about having to throw away all their fridges cos the maggots just come back no matter how much you scrub them.


Also, now that I have BEEN TO AMERICA I know that New Orleans is actually pronounced 'NOR'lens' And also, I am totally going to NOR'lens next trip.

Gosh yes, you must go to Nawlins! I fully regret only spending a few days there, when there is weeks and weeks of cool things to see and do.

I regret not having time to venture outside of the city itself - to the various plantation mansions, and trips out to the bayeaux, and other day trip thingies. I regret not going to any nightclubs or music venues.

(This in the mid nineties, of course, well before the tragedy of Katrina.)
