So a while ago I came across Abrazo, a gen fic where Teyla and John dance. I know - what the? But I was pretty desperate for (good) Atlantis fic so I gave it a go. I have since attempted to tell people about this fic and have been rudely mocked. I understand. It's gen. It's John and Teyla bonding. And it's about dancing. I hardly believe it myself.

So I shamelessly cruised the author's lj. And she seems fun and to be living a very exotic life and also to be interested in some of the same fandoms. And then she posted part one of Hindsight. And I was hooked, and friended her.

Let me tell you about Hindsight. *clears throat* OMG! *bounce* *squee*

*tries again* It's an AU, which not normally so much my thing, but John's an FBI agent. Rodney's...Rodney. They are so totally in character and the story has plot and relationship angst and one of the best happily ever after endings ever in the history of the world.

And I realise I've probably talked it up to much that it can't possibly meet your expectations, but hell, if it gets you to read it...

AND *hyperventilates* when I went to get the urls for the fics I discovered she's written BRUNO AND BOOTS.

So my email seems to be stuck downloading and pages aren't downloading. Is it the broadband? I think. Wouldn't be the first time. I'll just go check Dragonfly's computer, I think.

Not only is everything downloading perfectly but this problem I've been having for about ten days now? Where clinking on links and lj cuts and comments sends me to blank pages? Nu huh. Not on *this* computer.

What the hell is wrong with my computer that it screws up only certain parts of LJ?

On a Farscape kick at the moment. Dragonfly and I somehow missed random episodes first time around,and have not seen s4 at all. It's all so exciting!

Things I like about Farscape in no particular order.

A whole galaxy full of aliens with Aussie accents.

John and Aeryn in leathers.

That Crichton vomits, drools, and cries. (Um, not all at once).


Seriously. In all the Star Trek episodes ever made, did anyone vomit? Drool?


Random scene I am particularly fond of - Crichton's feeling a bit crap after being mind-raped, and is sprawled in the lap of the guy with the Phantom of the Opera mask, who is stroking his hair while they talk. I'm not even taking this to a slashy place, I just think, how cool is that?
