Boomer + Helo 4 EVA

How is it possible that I've worked 52 hours in the last week and still have another double shift tomorrow?

Also, [livejournal.com profile] cricketk made me only have four hours sleep AND made me walk in the rain.

On the plus side, I did get to see the latest two eps of BSG and this week's ep of Atlantis, plus some Numb3rs and sundry songvids. Also she cooked me lunch.

::smooshes Cricket::

I loved the Teyla/Ronon interaction, it was cute and they are very pretty and I am in a good het place with them.

The tap upside the head that John gave Rodney had Cricket and I bouncing up and down with glee, cos you just don't do that to someone you don't have fond feelings for. I don't even have to go to a slashy place for this to bring me joy :)

The episode itself didn't seem to flow very smoothly, and there was a scene that I have conflicted feelings about. I really liked that Ellia admitted that she had been feeding all along, that there was no easy cure and she had to be true to her nature, but at the same time it annoyed me because I feel that they included that to justify what had to happen, oops yes, yet again we are responsible for something going horribly wrong and now a young girl has to be shot to death but look she was a monster anyway!

And also apparently I'm the only person in the world to completely fail to notice Jewel Straite played Ellia.

*is ashamed*

Have you watched this ep? No? *looks stern* What are you doing lurking under the cut then, missy?

Yes! Boomer and Helo, gah now that is my idea of star-crossed lovers. Aw and when the Chief came up to them...my heart did that squeezy thing.

Also, did I hear somewhere that you did the City to Surf? Is that what the ref to walking in the rain is about? If so, I'm super- even uber- and, like, ever so muchly impressed.

Well, be impressed with Cricketk and Zebra who *jog* it every year. This year however, K has a bad knee injury so I nobly agreed to walk with her to stop her from allowing her competetive nature to get the better of her, however we only got as far as Rokeby Rd before K's knee gave out, so then we just rested and walked back to her place, and you know, watched a lot of tv shows...

Poor Sharon! Poor Chief! Poor Helo! I think Sharon did the right thing, there.

Teyla/Ronon...I am in a good het place with them.

Me too. Last season, it seemed as if they were trying to push her and Shep together and hello, no chemistry! Teyla and Ronon are cute. Well, he's cute. Ok, he's very very hot! Ummm...so what was I saying?

Can I say, I am really liking all the incarnations of Sharon. I feel so sorry for her. Dead!Sharon was so poorly treated and she loved the Chief and it was all so tragic, and now Pregnant!Sharon loves Helo and it's all so tragic!

And I just love Gauis and Six just because.

I know! Oh, the glee I have!
