And also, while McKay is eating our brains, did you see that David Hewlett will be at BOBW26 (http://www.bobw.com.au/BOBWs/26/index26.html) this year?

Though I think the year that I went was the last of the cool ones - and I'm not just saying that because there was smoking and drinking and random hanging out with Teryl Rothery and Don Davis. Michael Shanks came the year after and thus ended the casual audience/actor interaction. So I wasn't interested in going.

I'm still thinking about Poppy Z. Brite, Neil Gaiman and Robin HObb/Megan Lindholm in Melbourne...

Oooh, cool! Had to look up Chris Meloni, and saw this gem of a review for "Wet Hot American Summer":

"In a deleted scene on the DVD for this gay-friendly, amusing film (watch for the scene between Bradley Cooper and Michael Ian Black!), Chris asks people going into town to bring back parsley. Any chance you can tell me how to save this? I had to download it all over again after I tried, failed and it closed on me....

It should save if you right-click and choose "Save Target as" or "Save Link As" (or whatever the text is). If you have it open in a media player, there might be a save function under "File", or (the really sneaky way) without closing the media player, search your computer files for the filename (usually shows up in a Temp directory somewhere), and you can copy it out of there and save it elsewhere.
