Apr. 16th, 2005 11:16 pmI know that I use the internet for what is, essentially, porn. I really shouldn't be shocked surprised when I innocently stumble over other...interests. Oh, like *this*. I was checking out his birthday, I swear. Apparently it's today.
Also, have never heard of Century Hotel, but apparently
cricketk and I need to see it asap.

Date: 2005-04-18 08:06 am (UTC)Though I think the year that I went was the last of the cool ones - and I'm not just saying that because there was smoking and drinking and random hanging out with Teryl Rothery and Don Davis. Michael Shanks came the year after and thus ended the casual audience/actor interaction. So I wasn't interested in going.
I'm still thinking about Poppy Z. Brite, Neil Gaiman and Robin HObb/Megan Lindholm in Melbourne...

Date: 2005-04-18 09:07 am (UTC)Anyhow, you are certainly right, as the Broadway musical Avenue Q (http://www.avenueq.com) said, The Internet is for Porn (http://www.stlyrics.com/lyrics/avenueq/theinternetisforporn.htm).

Date: 2005-04-18 11:35 am (UTC)"In a deleted scene on the DVD for this gay-friendly, amusing film (watch for the scene between Bradley Cooper and Michael Ian Black!), Chris asks people going into town to bring back parsley. He turns to leave, and as he's walking away, you realize he isn't wearing anything under his apron. Watch as his cheeks bounce while he walks away. His legendary ass is exposed on the big screen for the first time. According to the director, Chris himself improvised this scene. Thank you Chris for never being shy!"
