I could have been in bed by midnight (it's now 1am - that's how long it's taken to write this omg). This could have been a much shorter post. But then I discovered that I could REWATCH the episode while I was typing!!! in the little pop up box you get now when you hover the cursor over the VLC icon. It kind of slowed things down. A bit.

Best series opening scene ever!!!! No seriously, what could EVER beat a hot snogging session between Captain Jack Harkness and ~~James Marsters~~ his ex-boyfriend?

Lookee at how awesomely efficient the team are without Jack around to confuse and disorient and distract them with teh SEX!!!

I continue to be conflicted about the intense Jack/Gwen emotional connection. On one hand I approve of UST at any time and also of the ongoing reminder that Jack is rampantly bisexual, but mostly I'm GAH you're both sexing other people you bastards.

IANTO! In the office, when Jack was asking him out on a date and Ianto was trying to focus on the job at hand but was clearly unable to think clearly. SO MUCH LOVE.

Ianto and his stopwatch countdown! I *heart* him.

Owen was awesome. I can't even believe I'm typing this. No doubt it won't be long before he does something to remind us what a bastard he is.

Also, I may have watched the farewell kiss ~~about forty~~ a couple of times.
