I've never been too keen on cordless mice myself. I use the mouseless mouse that is built into my laptop. The cordless mouse that we had for our family desktop computer seemed to cause a fair bit of grief by not working just when people most wanted it to work (like shoelaces).

Hmm, will remember to check next time I need batteries.
Meanwhile my cordless mouse is not bringing me as much joy now I know it's TOXIC.
