Earlier this evening...
Spike and Angel dive for cover to avoid a burst of machine gun fire. They freeze in midair, their long black leather coats swirled around them...
Me - OMG, you're pausing NOW?.
Dragonfly *puts down remote* See ya!
Me - No no no no. No having a social life when we have (new) shows to watch!
Dragonfly *laughs cruelly as she leaves*
Season 5 Angel - Only ever saw the first half a dozen episodes when it was on TV and are only just getting around tomainlining watching the whole season.
1. SPIKE IS A GOD. How did I not know this before? I mean, I always liked him, rooted for the Spuffy story to end happily, cried when it didn't but..OMG. I have a bit of a crush.
2. Spike looks hot with black hair. Also, that WW2 episode rocked.
3. I guess a girl is allowed to be all preachy an' all when she's doing it from a coma. Wasn't half obvious though. Wasn't too invested.
4. Amy Acker. Girl can ACT. I was pretty indifferent to Fred overall but...Best romantic death scene EVER. I cried! and cried! and cried!
5. Angel/Spike. I mean, I was always yeah of course, back in the day, but now I'm ALL OVER IT.
Spike - What's the plan?
Angel - Just hold my hand.
Spike - *eyebrow quirk* *takes Angel's hand without hesitation*
6. Somebody needs to confiscate Wesley's guns. Also, not let him near any sharp objects.
7. LOVED the pyscho slayer episode. That scene - with Spike's hands - REAL HORROR. I was on the edge of my seat.
8. I like Werewolf girl. I love that going to breakfast with a puppet didn't phase her at all.
Also, I've decided that the permanent-stubble look that Jack and Sawyer from Lost have, and that Wesley now sports is very annoying. Just shave occasionally people, for fuck's sake.

You should definitely watch Angel, I'd forgotten how much angst and huge relationship stuff - like when Wesley angsts and angsts and then betrays Angel because he feels he HAS to, and the fallout from that which is just HUGE and devastating.
