Got home from work and had a glass of wine or two while I rewatched Torchwood...

...so after a couple of glasses of wine on an empty stomach I watched most of the new Primeval episode.

was that just really silly?

- the team going up against raptors with what, one rifle and a tranquilliser gun between the lot of them?

- Connor accidently tranquillising the blonde girl, ha ha, then what happened, one minute he's wheeling her on a trolley, then she's apparently abandoned on the floor behind the bowling alley counter?

- I DO LIKE the 'reality change' though. Saves explaining how Connor went from 'bundled up in geeky clothes and kinda chubby' (by tv standards) to 'skinny and wearing geek chic tight black short sleeved outfits with lots of posing'.

OMG who knew Connor was so hot. *is shamelessly shallow*

- I approve of all the relationship angst and intense staring going on with Nick and Stephen. Helen AND Claudia seem to have been conveniently got out of the way in one fell swoop.

I have not yet seen the end of the episode.

zebra363 turned up with food and we have defaulted to The Persuaders! (After I made her watch all the 'good' bits of Torchwood).

Also I am now drinking black cherry flavoured vodka cruisers instead of wine.

HEE!!! Brett is paying more attention to the twins he's brought along on their double date than he is to Danny.

zebra363 is actually GROWLING. This is hilarious.

I think that Primeval is better than Torchwood so far. Or is that blaspheming? *grins*

- The plots were equally crap.

- Torchwood team were (amazingly) the more competent.

-And finally, Torchwood will always win for the matter-of-fact, yet enthusiastic and scorchingly hot way it brings teh gay to a mainstream audience.

Episode for episode Torchwood won hands down.
