start of stuff

Carefully packed a plastic Starbucks cup full of socks and stored it in my how-the-hell-did-it-get-this-full suitcase for the trip home so I'd have a dodgy memento of my brief love affair with this supposedly politically correct enterprise (nobody disillusion me, it's my only justification for the sudden major increase in my caffeine/sugar intake over the last couple of weeks).
