Anyone have any ideas about how to get vegetariansushi over here? Like, for good?

If only we were rich and influential. Instead of fast food workers. Oh, wait, that's just me.

So for the time being I reckon she should be an honourary member of the Perth Slash Gang. *frowns* We should have Colours, or armbands or something. Or at least a secret handshake.

Maybe we could prop up a picture of her at our gatherings....

Could we bribe her over... we could offer Trille and Sarren as her sex slaves. There could be much oversharing and she could be the centre of attention at our slash gatherings.

Or we could set up a group fund to pay for her plane tickets and a holiday over here... then kidnap her. We have enough public servants that I'm sure someone could figure out a way to indefinately extend her visa.

Or maybe we could just get her a webcam so that she can be here in Live! Streaming! Broadcast!

I have the following plans so far:

1. I win the lottery, and immediately pick up and as I will have millions of dollars and not be at all a stress on the Australian economy, they will let me move tp Perth.

2. Someone else becomes really rich, and then subsidises my move to Perth.

3. Australia legalises same-sex marriage. I marry Trille, and move to Perth.

So far, none of the plans are working, but I'm trying.

See, at this point, it's not a matter of bribing me over. I want to come! It's just that there are all these pesky, like, laws, and stuff? And they're all 'prove that you're an asset to the Australian economy! Prove that you have an education! Give us money to process things! Prove that you're not a terrorist and/or a communist! Give us some more money, now. Prove that you've never been convicted of a felony!'

And it's hard and they're scary, and I'm still willing to try and do it because I like y'all that much, but there's still the part where I have to convince them to let me in. And give them money.

At the moment, I'm a student. My work experience is fairly varied, but mostly low paying and unskilled.

I've actually looked into transferring to Australia to study for a while, except that I have a two year old, and most of the study programs that I've found seem like they wouldn't work too well if one had a child with them.

A fan fund is when a whole lot of people put in a little money to a central fund so one person can travel. So, if a return ticket is $1600 then you need 16 people to put in $100 or 32 for $50.

Oh! That's a clever idea. I doubt that I am interesting or important enough to warrant one of those, but it's a good idea. (What we need, I think, is to make everyone on my flist give me, say, $20. That would be lots of money, and I could move then.)
