Stupid sounding word, anyway.

Hey, Americans say goosebumps, right? Not goose pimples or anything even stupider?

Is it one word or two?

It's regional, but in a pretty random way. An American character could say either of those without sounding strange. Goosebumps is one word, goose pimples is two.

Yay thanks.

The online dictionary I looked at says goosebumps is two words, but I didn't believe it!

Goose bumps, goose flesh, goose pimples, depending on where you're from. I heard all three growing up, so go figure.

Chicago?

So it's two words? Hmm, maybe I should do a poll!

Yep. I think maybe gooseflesh is 1 word, but I'm pretty sure the others are 2. Don't quote me, though.

According to every dictionary (that onelook.com checks) it's two words, or occasionally hyphenated. The Macquarie in my drawer agrees. As one word, it appears to apply to a book and TV series.
