I wrote a 7000 word, plot focussed, Leverage/Keen Eddie crossover fic in three days, and submitted it, betaed, well within the deadline.



I finally realised that I don't write for fun, but I do have fun writing. I need motivation - a challenge, a deadline, or a complete lack of fic to READ in whatever fandom I happen to be obsessed with (because I'm lazy and I don't need to write it if I can read it).

wintercompanion is the fic challenge I submitted to, and it's just opened - they're doing a story every other day, mine isn't for a while, but I loved the one from today.

I'm not in a headspace right now where I can read Jack/Doctor willy nilly, though I am looking forward to yours \o/ I'm too obsessive on specific fandoms atm. It's actually funny, cos my first Yuletide three years ago my request was for a Jack/Doctor reunion!
