It's about four or five hours to Naples/Everglades from Orlando, so if the trip is 16 hours in duration, that means that the tour itself will only be about 6 - 8 hours of that time. You'll want to know what kind of transport is offered to and from Orlando -- is it a van, a car, a bus, what?
It does sound like a great way to at least get a *taste* of southern Florida without having to 1) spend the night or 2) navigate the Everglades by yourself. Seeing the glades from an airboat would be VERY cool -- I only ever did it by car, and I know you can see a LOT more by boat.
The price sounds reasonable.
I've done a lunch cruise along the Naples' waterways and it's a gorgeous ride -- tons of spectacular houses to look at, but the water views, though spectacular to US, won't be what you get at home.
